🟢 GOOD ANYTIME THIS WEEK

Daily service • Schedule varies

📍 Downtown Seattle ↔ West Seattle • Indoor/Outdoor • Ages: All • Fare required; young children ride free

Not every family outing needs to be an event. The West Seattle Water Taxi is an adventure on its own — great skyline views, a fun boat ride for kids, and an easy way to turn an ordinary day into an outing. Bonus: it’s running on Labor Day.

💡 PARENT TIP OF THE WEEK

Don’t let the rain cancel the outing.

Keep rain jackets and boots by the door (or even a backup set in the car) and embrace the wet playground. Seattle parks are often way less crowded on drizzly days — and puddles are basically their own activity when you’re little.
